Warranty Autofill for HVAC ("Warranty Autofill", "we", "us") helps HVAC contractors register equipment warranties with manufacturers. It has two parts: a Chrome extension used by your office, and an optional connection to your Jobber account. This policy explains what data we handle and why.

1. Data in the Chrome extension

The extension stores the information you type in its side panel — your company details (name, address, phone, email, dealer numbers), your Jobber key, and the job you are working on (customer name, address, phone, email, serial numbers, install date) — only in your browser, using Chrome's local storage. This data is not sent to us.

When you press "Fill this step" on a supported manufacturer registration website, the extension copies that information into the form on the page you have open. The extension never submits a form, never accepts terms on your behalf, and only runs on the manufacturer registration websites listed in its description.

2. Data from Jobber (if you connect it)

If you connect your Jobber account, you approve read-only access to your clients and jobs, plus permission to create two custom job fields ("Serial numbers" and "Equipment brand"). When a job is closed or completed, our server reads that job and, if it has serial numbers, saves a registration task containing:

• Jobber job ID, job number and title;
• customer first and last name, company name, primary phone and primary email;
• the service property address;
• serial numbers, equipment brand, completion date and the calculated registration deadline;
• the status you set (pending, registered or skipped).

We also store your Jobber account ID and name, the access tokens Jobber issues to our app, and a hashed (irreversible) copy of your extension key. We do not read invoices, payments, quotes, timesheets or other Jobber data.

2a. Plan and payment data

To apply the free plan limit, the extension sends our server an irreversible fingerprint (hash) of each job's serial numbers when you first fill it, and we count these per month. If you subscribe to Pro, you enter your card details on the checkout of Freemius, our reseller and Merchant of Record; card details never reach us. Freemius shares with us your email, license and subscription status, which we store with your plan and payment dates. Freemius processes the order under its own terms and privacy policy.

3. How we use data

We use this data only to show your office the list of equipment to register and to fill in manufacturer registration forms when you ask. We do not sell data, share it for advertising, use it to build profiles, or use it for any purpose unrelated to warranty registration. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies.

4. Where data is stored and who processes it

Server data is stored in Cloudflare (Workers and Durable Objects). Cloudflare also keeps short-term technical logs of requests for operating and debugging the service. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Jobber processes your data under its own terms. Manufacturer websites receive data only when you submit their forms yourself. We receive service alerts (for example, a new subscription or a cancellation) in Telegram; they contain only your company name.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your Jobber account is connected. When you disconnect Warranty Autofill in Jobber, we delete your account record, tokens, plan usage and all registration tasks (order records required by law are kept by Freemius). Job details stored in the extension are removed when you press "New job (clear)"; all extension data is removed when you uninstall it. You can also ask us to delete your data at any time by email.

6. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs and Chrome will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the extension's single purpose: filling HVAC equipment warranty registration forms.

7. Children

Warranty Autofill is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and describe material changes on this page.
