From a closed Jobber job to a filled manufacturer form in one click. Here is every step, with pictures, and who does what.
Why it matters
After you install equipment, the manufacturer wants it registered on their website. If nobody does it in time, the homeowner often gets a shorter warranty.
That is how long you have, counted from the install date. Each brand has its own number.
Each manufacturer has its own form. Someone copies the customer and serial numbers from Jobber by hand.
Miss the deadline and many brands cut parts coverage to the basic warranty.
Terms differ by brand and model. In some places (for example California and Quebec) skipping registration does not shorten the warranty.
Part 1 · Set up once
You do this once for your company. After that, nothing to set up again.
On our home page press Connect Jobber — free. Jobber asks you to Allow access. Press it.
We add two boxes to your Jobber jobs: Serial numbers and Equipment brand.
Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. Then copy your key from the “Connected” page into it.
It opens as a side panel on the right of any page.
Your company name, address, phone, email and dealer numbers.
They are reused on every form, for every brand.
You need Google Chrome on a computer and a Jobber account. The two job boxes need Jobber Connect or a higher plan; on other plans you can type serial numbers into the extension.
Part 2 · Every job
Look for the colored labels: Automatic happens by itself, You is a person’s job.
In the Jobber app, on the job: type the serial number (one per line) and pick the brand. Then close the job as usual.
The customer’s name, address and the install date are already in Jobber. Nobody types them again.
AC replacement
Open the side panel in Chrome. Under To register you see every unit still to do, with the days left. The most urgent is on top.
Each row has three buttons: Open form, Mark registered and Skip.
Press Open Carrier form. The real Carrier website opens, and the job loads into the side panel. Press Fill this step.
Everything in green fills in by itself. Carrier even finds the model from the serial number. The orange parts are left for you.
Read the form. Tick the agreement box. Press Submit on the manufacturer’s site.
Back in the side panel press Mark registered. The unit leaves the list. Press Skip if you will not register it (for example, the homeowner already did).
Long forms
Some sites, like Rheem and Ruud, split registration into pages. On each page press Fill this step, check it, then press Next. If the site shows a message (for example an unknown serial), the side panel tells you what to do.
Brands
The deadline is counted from the install date. The last column is what you still do after pressing Fill.

Deadlines follow each manufacturer’s published terms. Brand names belong to their owners. Warranty Autofill is independent and not affiliated with Jobber or any manufacturer.
Part 3 · Plans and paying
A “job” is one set of equipment, for example an outdoor unit and its furnace. Filling the same job again counts once.
In the side panel press Upgrade · $29/mo. A secure checkout opens in a new tab.
By card or PayPal, in US dollars. Sales tax is added where required.
Freemius emails your receipt. Invoices stay in your customer portal.
Right away. It renews every month until you cancel.
No contract. You can stop any time and keep what you already paid for.
Charged by mistake, or Pro did not work for you? Email hello@mi-companion.com within 14 days of the charge. You get the full amount back to your card or PayPal, in US dollars. Banks usually show it in 5–10 business days.
If the monthly payment fails, Pro stays on for 3 more days while it is retried. Then the account moves to Free. Your list and deadlines keep working.

Your data
Closed jobs with a serial number: customer, address, brand, serials, install date and deadline.
On Cloudflare, sent over HTTPS. The job you are filling stays in your browser.
Sell data, show ads, track you, or use it for anything except warranty registration.
Disconnect the app in Jobber and we delete your account, tokens and list.
